Kindergarten Open House

Today was Sky's Kindergarten Open House. It was lots of fun to see her work and art! Above she is with her teacher who has been absolutely wonderful for Sky. Below she is with some of her classmates.

Sky and her friend in front of the "What I Like About Kindergarten Quilt". Sky wrote that she liked the 100th day of school the best because they got to do 100 learning centers that day.

Sky in front of her SPRING acrostic and flower painting. Hers is the red flower with the orange background.

Sky with her fall diorama. As it turned out, it was better than diarrhea. We had a good time working on that.

This is what Sky wants to be when she grows up: a ballet teacher. Her essay starts out something like, "Ballet teachers are important to our community because they teach people to dance." Funny, when I think of community helpers, ballet teachers don't usually come to mind... Cute painting though, huh? We had a blast checking out Sky's class!
